Young Savers Club

Peoples Trust Credit Union is very interested in getting our young people on the road to good money management. Young people are faced with increasing demands, expanding money management possibilities, ATM cards, checking accounts and credit cards. We encourage parents and grandparents to open savings account for young children, to begin establishing good savings habits early.

PTCU offers the following for younger members:

• No service fees on savings accounts, regardless of balance, until age 23.
• Teens are invited to participate in our Scholarship Program when they open a savings account and maintain their account in good standing.
• We offer "Custodial" accounts for children under the Uniformed Gift to Minors Act.
• Members age 16 and up are eligible to apply for Checking accounts, ATM cards, and Visa credit cards, with a parent's signature.
• On-site financial planner available for parents and children, to help with investments and college planning.
